There has been a conspiracy theory propagated by Donald Trump, his followers, and certain members of the republican party that he won the 2020 election. This conspiracy has been fed to the general public day in and day out for over three years now. Some have been more bold than other such as former US representative Mo Brooks who after a day after the electoral college voted – even went so far as to claim that Donald Trump won the electoral vote. Even though hours after the capital was at siege and a potential insurrection took place members of congress came back to rightfully cast their ballots for Joe Biden. Still, there are people who would dispel what we've seen before our very eyes and what we know such as Trumps own officials – including homeland security – who stated “there is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised.” (https://www.vox.com/2020/11/13/21563825/2020-elections-most-secure-dhs-cisa-krebs).
